Day 01. Bogotá

Arrival at Bogotá City, El Dorado International Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation.

Day 02. Bogotá: City Tour – Coffee Tasting (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, begin the panoramic city tour through the historic center of Bogotá, also called “La Candelaria,” which will include a visit to the Gold Museum, where you will see nearly 34,000 pieces of pre-Columbian gold and more than 25,000 pre-Columbian objects. Following that, you will visit the Mint House and Botero Donation, where works by the internationally renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero are displayed in various artistic techniques such as painting, drawing, and sculpture. The tour will also include a panoramic view of Bolívar Square, where you will see the surrounding landmarks (The Primada Cathedral, The Nariño House, The Liévano Palace, and The Palace of Justice). Finally, you will enjoy and learn about the world's smoothest coffee. A local expert will teach you the secrets of making a good cup, appreciating qualities such as balance, body, aroma, and acidity. You will observe the most commonly used preparation methods and taste a cup of specialty coffee, accompanied by coffee-derived products. In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 03. Bogotá – Zipaquirá – Villa de Leyva (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, begin the journey through the Cundiboyacense highlands and its imposing mountains to reach Zipaquirá. Visit the Salt Cathedral, built inside a mine 180 meters deep, considered one of the most important wonders of Colombia and a great work of engineering and religious art. Then, continue to Chiquinquirá to visit its basilica. From there, head to Ráquira, known for its architecture and crafts. Finally, arrive in Villa de Leyva, where you will admire its colonial architecture, surrounded by mountains, desert, and the largest square in Colombia. Accommodation in Villa de Leyva.

Day 04. Villa de Leyva: Departure to Pereira (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, check out from the hotel, and depart with luggage toward Los Pozos Azules, a natural attraction where we will admire six pools that achieve their attractive color due to the minerals in the soil (Sulfur, Selenium, and Copper Sulfate). Afterward, we will continue to the Paleontological Research Center, which has one of the most advanced laboratories for preparing vertebrate fossils and one of the largest paleontological collections from the Cretaceous period in the world. We will then have lunch (Included). Once finished, we will return to the city of Bogotá and arrive at El Dorado International Airport, where we will take a flight (Not included) to the city of Pereira (it is suggested to take a flight departing from Bogotá in the evening, after 8:00 PM). Upon arrival, assistance at the Matecaña International Airport in Pereira, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation.

Day 05. Pereira: Filandia – Salento and Cocora Valley (Private Service)

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, begin the journey to the typical town of Filandia. There, we will walk through its colonial streets and visit the Quindío viewpoint. Additionally, you will enjoy a gastronomic experience of drinks and dessert at a local restaurant. Then, we will transfer to Cocora Valley to admire the beautiful landscape. Once we arrive at the Valley, we will have a welcome cocktail (Canelazo) and be assisted by an eco-guide specialized in the Cocora Reserve, who will introduce us to the reserve. Afterward, we will walk to the misty forest, where we will appreciate the biodiversity of the local fauna and flora and take the ecological trail to see the tallest wax palms in the world, the national tree. We will also perform the Quindío wax palm ritual, learning about how the indigenous people worshipped this palm and participating in the planting of palm seedlings. We will then proceed to the typical town of Salento for a walking tour, visiting its colonial streets.

Duration: 7 hours

Note: The Quindío viewpoint is closed on Mondays, and if Monday is a holiday, it will be closed on Tuesday


Day 06. Pereira: Interactive Experience at a Coffee Farm

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, we will begin the journey to a coffee farm in the region. Once we arrive at the designated farm, an interactive tour will begin with a local expert, leading the tourists through beautiful specialty coffee plantations, explaining the entire coffee process from planting, selective manual harvesting, to pulp removal. The tour includes several stations with viewpoints where we can appreciate the beautiful landscape and natural surroundings of the area. Finally, we will experience the innovative coffee drying process and proceed to the processing plant, where we will see coffee milling and roasting. The tour will end at the main house, where we will enjoy a coffee tasting and a barista demonstration to taste a cup of the best coffee in the world. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 07. Pereira: Departure to Santa Marta

At the agreed time, transfer to Matecaña International Airport to take the flight (not included) to Santa Marta.

Arrival in Santa Marta, assistance at Simón Bolívar Airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation.

Day 08. Santa Marta: City Tour (Private Service)

At the agreed time, the tour begins, exploring Santa Marta, the oldest city in South America, on a journey filled with history, culture, and Caribbean landscapes. Visit its main attractions, including the historic center, Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, the Gold Museum, the Monument to the Homeland, a tour of the Historic Center of the City, visit to the Santa Marta Cathedral, and a stop at the Taganga viewpoint. Return to the hotel for accommodation.

Duration: 4 hours

Day 09. Santa Marta: Tayrona National Natural Park – Cabo San Juan del Guía (Shared Service)

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the designated time, pick-up from your accommodation or the meeting point in Santa Marta, and departure via the road leading to La Guajira, heading to the Zaino sector (40 km from the historic center of Santa Marta, approximately 50 minutes).

Arrival at the Zaino entrance and access to the Cañaveral parking lot. Walk through well-marked ecological trails and pass by some of the beaches in Tayrona Park, including Arrecifes, Arenilla, and La Piscina, until reaching Cabo San Juan del Guía. Free time at the beach. Around noon, it’s time for lunch (lunch not included). The guide can assist the traveler with ordering at a local restaurant. Free time at the beach until around 2:00 pm when the return walk begins on the same trail. Board the vehicle at the Cañaveral parking lot and depart from Tayrona Park. Arrival in Santa Marta around 5:30 pm. Return to the hotel for accommodation.

Day 10. Santa Marta: Transfer to Cartagena & Sunset Tour by the Bay (Private & Shared Service)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer by land in private service (Spanish-speaking driver) from the hotel in Santa Marta to the hotel in Cartagena (Approx. 4-hour duration).

Arrival in Cartagena, check-in. Accommodation.

In the afternoon, assistance at the hotel for the transfer to the pier to take a tour of the bay of Cartagena de Indias to enjoy the sunset. After the tour, return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Duration: 90 minutes

This day includes: Private land transfer from Santa Marta to Cartagena, transfer from hotel to pier and back, open bar with Cuba Libre, rum punch, lemonade, water, soft drinks, accommodation, and medical assistance card.

At the agreed time, panoramic city tour in an air-conditioned private vehicle. Discover the magical history of Cartagena de Indias on a guided tour in a climate-controlled vehicle. Accompanied by a bilingual professional guide, the tour includes a panoramic view of Cartagena's bay, Pegasos Pier, the clock tower, and a visit to the Manga neighborhood to admire Moorish and Republican architecture. You will also visit the impressive San Felipe de Barajas Fortress. Immerse yourself in the charm of the city’s historic walled center, with stops for crafts shopping and a walk through its historic streets and plazas, including visits to San Pedro Claver Church and the Santo Domingo bastion. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

Day 12. Cartagena: Fishing Tour & Native Cooking (Shared Service)

At the agreed time, begin an excursion for a day of fishing and native cooking, ideal for connecting directly with the local Afro-Colombian fishing community. Learn from the locals how to set up fishing nets and crab traps, and then help prepare the catch (crabs, fish, or shellfish) at a local fisherman’s house.

Duration: 6 hours

Day 13. Cartagena – Next Destination / Origin City
